Pleasant grip

After the six-month exile of Korbus Cabernet Sauvignon in barrique, the varietal-typical aromas of cassis and green bell bell pepper are flanked by subtle wood notes such as vanilla, licorice and amaretto. Its tannins are soft and fine-grained, the acidity well integrated. It shows a pleasantly grippy presence on the palate at all times. Even if you would like to enjoy it just like that, you should listen to it at times: It literally begs to be allowed to accompany dishes such as tenderly cooked lamb chops or braised beef. The Korbus Cabernet Sauvignon already has a pleasant drinking maturity - best after it has been decanted a bit. However, if you think you can do without it for a while longer, you won't go wrong with further bottle aging.

Wines from the smallest wineries on the island - handcrafted at Château Vino de la Isla.

Wine from Mallorca is scarce and has been enjoying ever-increasing popularity for years. Vino de la Isla stands for the typical regional variety of Mallorcan wines of the highest quality. The hand-picked wines produced in harmony with nature, which are created in the glass wine manufactory in the Château Vino de la Isla in Algaida, offer the highest Mallorcan wine enjoyment, aromatic diversity and pure island feeling.

For many years now, winemaker Henri Fink and his team have been planting vines on behalf of customers, transforming a portion of private finca land into a professional quality vineyard, often only a few thousand square meters in size. The variety of resulting wines, usually in very limited quantities and from all regions of the island, is impressive. Each wine is made exclusively from the grapes of the respective finca vineyard.

In the bodega "Château Vino de la Isla" Mallorca fans, wine lovers and gourmets can experience a variety of wines that is unique throughout the island. Whether regional rarities from virtually all parts of the island, of which there are often only a few hundred bottles of a vintage, whether wines from the rare Mallorcan grape varieties, such as Manto Negro or Prensal Blanc, or brand wines in top quality - the Vino de la Isla wine range leaves nothing to be desired.
